Dr Andrew Lea of Harp Hill Cider (UK) is  the much anticipated key note speaker at this year’s conference.  Andrew is well known throughout the world for his knowledge of cider, much of which he has captured in his web site and book that have become a key point of reference for aspiring and existing cider producers.  Anyone who is in the cider industry or is thinking about getting into cider production will know of Dr Lea and will appreciate the opportunity to hear him speak at Batlow this May.

Andrew will be presenting the topic “English Craft Cider Making – What can Australians learn?”.

Dr Lea will be joined by a host of other highly respected identities of the Australian Cider Industry in a conference program that covers aspects of Cider Varieties, Cider Science, Industry Politics, Taxation, Cider Evaluation and Appreciation.

In our final session of the conference program, Karina Dambergs and Andrew Lea will partner to take the audience on a sensory appreciation of the world of cider. This will be a fantastic prelude to the InCiders Happy Hour, a networking session not to be missed.

InCiders Happy Hour ($25pp):

The opportunities for networking do not end with the conference closing.   The InCiders Happy Hour (additional ticket required), will give delegates the option to stay-on and chat with presenters and other delegates while enjoying tastings, a complimentary cider, canapés and some light entertainment.
