For five years now the Western NSW raised, Fanny Lumsden and her cracking band ‘The Thrillseekers’ have been bringing halls alive and communities together on their Annual Country Halls Tour. Raising funds for the halls and communities  as they go, Fanny is hell bent on taking living music to regional Australia and celebrating all the wonderful halls out there that are not used as much as they used to be.
 
Fanny Lumsden has been called ‘A breath of fresh Country Air’ by Rolling Stone Magazine & ‘Australia’s answer to Americana’ by Rhythms Magazine. Her debut record Small Town Big Shot - (#6 on the Country ARIA Chart) & with both singles reaching #1 on the Country Music Channel, it’s no wonder she was asked to present a CMAA award alongside Paul Kelly & nominated for CMC New OZ Artist of the year. With her sold out Annual Country Halls Tour the Western NSW raised Fanny Lumsden is as The Australian said ‘a rising singer songwriter turning heads’.

Their live show is an insight into the ‘gentle rhythms of regional Australia’ presenting it the ‘way it is rather than the way it was’ (Rolling stone) however is exciting, inclusive and downright fun. Featuring Totem tennis matches, hills hoists and an overall ‘hell of a time’ Fanny is as Chris Familton put it ‘a born entertainer with a voice that swings between pop, soul and country and by surrounding herself with fine musicians (The Thrillseekers) she’s never failed to leave an imprint on an audience by way of her personality and performance.’
