An enthralling flamenco show featuring two dancers, guitarist, singer and cajon player. A masterpiece, rooted in tradition that creates modern Australian Flamenco, before your eyes. 'Luz y Sombra', peruses the contrasting dynamics tempo changes and intricate poly-rhythms that embody flamenco. 

Chachy Peñalver (Sydney) and Roshanne Wijeyeratne (Adelaide) are highly proficient dancers who've studied extensively in Spain and Australia and both have their own successful schools, Marco Van Doornum (New York) has been playing with Spanish and American flamenco companies abroad and is a very highly regarded guitarist. Byron is a powerhouse percussionist so adept at "catching" the beat, his hands blur. Zoe is one of only a handful of flamenco singers in Australia, and after extensive study in Spain, brings to the group a unique flamenco sound.

This harmonised ensemble will present a culmination of three years work with a focus to thrill and amaze, as they parley between light, and shade.
