Enjoy country music, Katherine style. The annual Katherine Country Music Muster is a one night event with non-stop music and entertainment. The muster kicks off with live performances by Australian country musicians both local and interstate at an evening concert. The whole town of Katherine gets involved with ute musters and line dancing. You can purchase country music muster merchandise and refuel at the food stalls. Bring the whole family – there are plenty of free activities for the kids.
The idea for the Katherine Country Music Muster was started by the local community in an effort to lift the spirits of those affected by the devastating floods of 1998. It is run by a not-for-profit community organisation.
