About Pink Lady™ and Pork Luncheon
In 2014, to mark the 40th anniversary of the first WA planting of the world’s most famous and commercially successful apple tree, the Lyster family together with Perth celebrity butcher Vince Garreffa ‘Prince of Flesh’ of Mondo Di Carne is hosting the Pink Lady™ and Pork luncheon.
A boutique culinary experience themed on the classic union of pork and Pink Lady apples, complemented by locally grown produce from our pristine Southern Forest region, this five course luncheon matched with premium local award winning wines will celebrate the Pink Lady harvest in its “hometown”.
Pink lovers will be able to meet the man behind the apple, with John Cripps and his wife Verity attending as guests of honour.
The luncheon date is Saturday, 17 May 2014 from 1.00pm to 4.00pm, held on the Lyster family property located at 28327 South West Highway, Manjimup WA 6258.
Sponsored by Craig Mostyn, Linley Valley Pork and the Southern Forests Food Council, there are only 70 tickets to this event.
