This is the ultimate night of fun, excitement and fundraising for the Mackay Hospital Foundation to support our regions local hospitals. A fabulous themed night at the races with everything from photos, fashions on the field, bookies and fun money to bet and watch the races on a big screen.  Fun money will be provided and available to buy on the night, betting slips, bookie IOUs and race booklets.

The Mackay Hospital Foundation is a local, independent, community driven not-for-profit charity, undertaking fundraising and using donations to support the public hospitals in the Mackay Hospital and Health Service district.  The Foundation launched in May 2011 to fill the gap between what the government provides and the greater needs of our communities to support our local hospitals. Since its launch, the foundation has grown with a board of directors who dedicate and volunteer their time leading the not-for-profit organisation into a prosperous future.

Come and meet the Mackay Hospital Foundation’s Board of Directors and other like-minded business networks on the night. All funds raised are to support our regions local hospitals.

- Fun money can be bought on arrival and EFTPOS facilities will be available on the night.

- You will be provided with a form guide.

- A dinner and drinks package is provided with tickets or sponsorship.

- A race manager will be provided on the night and explain how the races are run, where to find the odds for each horse (in the form guide), the rules for betting and how the overall winner will be decided.

- Entertainment on the night.

- Silent auctions on the night.

- A “Fashions on the Field” contest (it can be as serious or silly as you like) with prizes and a fee for entrants to participate.

- Don’t worry if you run out of Fun Money we will have Buy-ins where once a ‘punter’ runs out of fun money, they are able to buy some more for a fee or donation.
