Simple backyard or container vegetable growing, recycling in the garden, composting for the beginner, environmentally friendly and cost saving techniques, from ‘kitchen to garden’. Making fullest use of what’s in your garden – i.e. herbs, eucalyptus, etc for cooking, cleaning, herbal products, deodorising, healing, and insect repellents. Recycling and reusing in the garden.

You will learn how to make & take home samples of soap-based Garden Spray, Environmentally friendly Gardeners Hand Cleanser, Ant / Insect Repellent Powder & a selection of self-potted plants in recycled pots (indoor & outdoor).  There will also be an opportunity to tour our community garden and learn about our waterwise wicking garden beds.

Please bring 2 clean glass jars with lids for your take home samples.
