About Mud and Saltwater Short Film Fest – ‘Premiere Night’

Sun Pictures, in Broome’s historic Chinatown, is the perfect location to screen short films made by local filmmakers about Roebuck Bay and the Kimberley region. With the Kimberley, rugged, scenic and rich in cultural values, there are plenty of fascinating, and at times, hilarious and perilous stories to be relived through film.
This year, the family friendly Mud and Saltwater Short Film Fests will be a night of film, photo stories, performance and live music.
The short films are judged prior to the Festival and the winners of each category announced at the premiere on August 29th, 2018.
