Rising Lotus Events & Sonic Heart Creations presents…. “Sacred Heart Songs”

Enrich your heart and soul with an evening of divine, sacred, soulful music to uplift, inspire and heal. Join Murray Kyle (NSW), The Rising Lotus and Sundar (Andy Mack & Friends) for an intimate acoustic concert in the beautiful and popular Church of the Trinity.

Murray Kyle returns to Adelaide after mesmerising audiences here last year with a performance that nourished their heart and spirit. Don't miss this unique opportunity to be inspired by the powerfully tender performance of this esteemed songwriter. Murray Kyle has emerged as a highly respected musician in the Australian roots music scene, and is based in the tiny town of Uki in Northern NSW, a creative epicentre of lush valleys and mountains.  His music honours the connection to Mother Earth we all share as humanity, carrying a conscious message for these changing times and inspiring joy and positive awareness within the listener. A multi-instrumentalist, Murray blends his earthy vocal textures with his highly skilled instrumentation of piano, guitar, yidaki, woodwinds and percussion. From festival stages to intimate events, Murray’s performances are soundscapes of passionate storytelling that uplift and connect the audience, having graced the stages of major Australian festivals including Peats Ridge, Woodford Folk Festival and Rainbow Serpent, as well as international events on the west coast of the USA, Hawaii, the UK and Bali.  Murray's fourth and premium album, Mountain Song, blends a mystical shamanic sound with devotional soul, a dash of R&B and positive roots vibes, with soaring vocals and free flowing lyrics to calm this turbulent world www.murraykyle.com

Joining Murray Kyle for this special occasion are The Rising Lotus and Sundar.

The soulful music of The Rising Lotus deliver messages of peace, universal love, inner transformation and self-empowerment. Her impressive vocals range from powerful, gripping highs, to warm, earthy lows, leaving audiences with both chills down their spine and the buzzing warmth of love in their heart. The Rising Lotus' second studio album, Inner Revolution, is powerful and soul-stirring, taking you on an inner  journey of self-discovery and positive transformation through a myriad of lush, organic, musical textures.  Recorded with an ensemble of world-class musicians, Inner Revolution has been impeccably mixed by LA engineer, Danny Kalb (Ben Harper, Beck) and mastered by award winning engineer, Martin Pullan (Guy Sebastian, John Farnham). “Conscious music...heartfelt, real & transformational...successfully raising the consciousness to unity, hope, love & harmony...and most importantly, to a life well lived from the awakened heart” Innerself Magazine.  “A fine example of an artist with ambition and principles, making music that aspires to something deeper than the norm... 5/5” (Music SA).  www.therisinglotus.org www.facebook.com/therisinglotus.org

Having garnered a devoted following of Bhajan (devotional chanting) enthusiasts, Andy Mack (of Shanti Sound Collective and former drummer of The Levitators) created Sundar – an uplifting fusion of contemporary and ancient sounds of the spirit. With  Andy (guitar, vocals), Themis Fernando (flutes, charango, vocals) and Peter Holton (sitar, vocals) bringing together sounds of south America and India layered upon melodic classical/folk guitar, Sundar create a dynamic and rich sound scape from the deep and gentle to the high and ecstatic as they take you on a journey of divine mantras. This is healing music at its highest and purest healing potential!

Doors open 5.30pm so you can arrive early to relax at the end of the week and relax with some delicious, nutritious vegan food and drinks and enjoy a healing mini-market. Performance with Sundar starts at 6.30pm.
