The Innovation Circle is a group of like-minded individuals with specialist IT and electronic skills who come together weekly at QVMAG Museum to discuss and develop ideas and work on digital interactive exhibits.

QVMAG has provided a workshop situated in the Battery Shed on their Inveresk site. This workshop provides an ideal space for the prototyping and production of hardware and software to help realise the aims of the project. Materials and expertise are also being donated by founding members of the Innovation Circle. In addition, the project aims to repurpose and recondition technology that is considered obsolete, turning e-waste into practical hardware.
