Billed as one of the biggest Trucking Shows & Rodeos in Australia - it certainly will be, with Kenworth prime movers & log trucks combined with the toughest pen of rough stock to hit Victorian soil.

‘Leading the Charge’ will be one of the most talked about bulls in modern rodeo, ‘Eye Candy’ who has been voted Australia’s #1 bull on the pro-rodeo tour for the past 2 years.

Also, on the truck from Upper Horton NSW will be another 2 times Australian champion bucking horse ‘Little Egypt’ and the current Australian saddle bronc horse ‘Moves Like Jagger’ who was also the former Australian champion in 2011.

It will be the first time Gill Bros have been to Wangaratta rodeo and will give Victorians an opportunity to view all 3 winning animals for 2018, which will form part of the Gill Bros Rodeo line up.

With the large continent of cowboys that follow the Gill Bros, it is expected Wangaratta Rodeo will showcase in Rodeo 2019. Combined with the Giants in the transport world, the Kenworth Truck Show is expected to attract a big following of trucking enthusiasts with companies and owner drivers hoping to take out awards for the Best Log Truck/Best Prime Mover or the Most Historical Kenworth to name just a few of the categories. All trucks will be paraded in the main arena under lights where spectators will be able to view Kenworth horse power estimated to be worth over $20 million dollars. The Kenworth Truck Show & Rodeo will be held at the Wangaratta Showgrounds on January 5th 2019. With early bird tickets going on sale at the end of October, part proceeds of the Truck Show & Rodeo will go towards Drought Relief victims. Organisers of the Wangaratta Kenworth Truck Show & Rodeo, Russell Green said today that Wangaratta would be the first Rodeo in Victoria to be affiliated with the World Cowboys Rodeo Association as well as the Australian Professional Rodeo Association.
