About Urban Runners

Urban Runners are short, fun, group runs through the streets of Footscray, Seddon and Yarraville. Urban Runners events are open to all levels aged 18+ and are completely free.

Urban Runners will pound the pavement twice a week over six weeks starting 28 April - 5 June

Urban Run Tuesday at 6pm

Urban Run Saturday at 8am

Runs are approx. 5km and either start or finish at a local business for a coffee, breakfast, stretch or a cold beverage.

Urban Runners is supported by The Running Company, Yarraville and the Maribyrnong City Council.

All Urban Running participants must be 18 years of age or older and must be registered to run, with a maximum of 20 runners per event.

Please be dressed ready to run and bring only what can be carried with you during the run.

Terms and Conditions

All Urban Runners events are free to participants. There are no permissions expressed or implied by the Urban Runners organisers. Participants make use of the facilities at their own risk and without express permission from the Urban Runners organisers or the Park or Council authorities.

Running is a physically active sport. You should always seek advice from your GP before taking up a strenuous physical pursuit such as this.

I accept that I do so entirely at my own risk and that it is my responsibility to ensure that I am fit and able to take part in the event.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Urban Runners and its volunteers do not accept responsibility for injury, loss and damage sustained by a participant unless the above injury, loss and damage is proven to have been caused as a direct result of negligence on the part of the organisers (Maribyrnong City Council and The Running Company, Yarraville).
