The Wake up Conference seeks to provide a forum to foster unity among all Muslims, to participate in civic and political responsibilities, to dispel misgivings about Islam and Muslims, to help fellow brothers / sisters better understand Islam through the Qu'ran and the teachings and practices of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his Ahl al-Bayt (AS), and to take all necessary measures to help implement UMP’s objectives including, but not limited to, the social, religious, economic, and political advancement of Muslims in Australia.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, your ticket MUST be with you on the night. If you do not have your ticket with you on the event night, security may refuse to allow you entry.

What is the refund policy?

Tickets may not be refunded under any circumstances.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?

Yes, tickets are transferable. Should you wish to re-sell your ticket, it must be sold at the purchase rate. Rights reserved to revoke ticket/s of any person/s suspected of selling tickets at a higher rate than purchased.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

No dangerous or sharp objects are to be brought to the event. Rights reserved to refuse entry to any person/s carrying dangerous or sharp objects.

Can I bring my children with me?

Young children and children requiring prams MUST STRICTLY NOT attend the event. Any children whom are old enough to attend the event will require a valid ticket, as children will not be permitted to sit on the laps of their parents. Right reserved to reject entry to any parents with prams or children without a valid ticket.

Is this a segregated event?

Yes, this event will be segregated.

Is Islamic dress code required?

Yes, Islamic dress code will apply for the duration of the event.
