About Ukulele Small Group Lessons Term 4, 2017

This includes:
8 x weekly classes from October 9 – December 4 AND
December 9, Unstrung Music End of Term Celebration afternoon which all students are required to attend.
Monday nights - choose which time suits you.
Kids 8+yrs: 5pm – 5:45pm
Adults Beginners: 6pm - 6:45pm
Adults Ensemble: 7pm - 7:45pm (must have completed beginners)
Old Shire Offices, Room 4. Cnr Watton St & Duncans Rd, Werribee.
Price $160 ($20 per class).
Steph Payne is studying the James Hill Ukulele Initiative - a dedicated 3 year course training ukulele teachers. Steph is also a member of the Australian Ukulele Teachers & Leaders Association, attending training days and trading teaching tips and resources with other teachers.
You will start to learn:
An understanding of music, melodies, duets, how to read ukulele tabs, how to read sheet music, scales, chord shapes, harmonies. More info in Steph’s video…

Electronic tuner
Ukulele case
A display book for handouts
Book: Ukulele In The Classroom by James Hill & Chalmers Doan $20 (Steph will order these for everyone as the postage is quite expensive and much cheaper when you buy a large quantity.

Your ukulele:
- I strongly recommend having a Low G string fitted
- I recommend Underground Music in Watton St, Bill does a great job setting up ukes.
