A melodic, heartwarming story, based on the real life account of the Von Trapp Family singers. Maria, is a nun standing in as governess for a rather large family. The widowed naval captain has seven children, and conducts his household in a militant manner. Maria, through her disregard for rules, returns a love of life and music to the home.
