Pepperjacks plays a mix of oldtimey, country/blues and ragtime through to swing. Harmony singing is one of the stand-out features of a Pepperjacks’ performance.
Pepperjacks band members are well known West Australian musicians Rod Vervest, guitar, Lara Norman, fiddle, Craig Sinclair, slide guitar, Bob Lipinski, harmonica and Margaret Crossen, upright bass.
This intimate acoustic concert will be held in the very comfortable Manjimup Repertory Theatre.
Supper and the chance to socialise and meet the musos will follow the concert and is included in your ticket price.
Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
Online discounted tickets and children’s tickets are only available until Wednesday July 13th. All tickets at the door, including children’s tickets will be $30.
Saturday 16th July
Harmony Singing Workshop, 1pm - 3pm.
Lead by Lara Norman, Craig Sinclair and Margaret Crossen.
Come along - with your fellow choir members or come by yourself and meet other people who love singing! The workshop will be run by members of the Pepperjacksband which has made a feature of strong harmony singing. Learn how they do it! The workshop will be followed by afternoon tea and is included in your ticket price.
Manjimup Community Centre, Mount Street, Manjimup. Only $20^ early bird ticket. $25 at the door.
Harmonica workshop with Bob Lipinski 1pm - 3pm.
Bob is a respected harmonica player who learnt to play as a child – his first gig was at the Maryland State Mental Hospital near Baltimore, USA - and he has performed regularly in bands during the last 40 years embracing folk, blues, swing, country and rhythm and blues.
In this workshop Rod Vervest will be Bob’s anchor man and demonstrate how the guitar underpins the harmonica solo.
The workshop will be followed by afternoon tea and is included in your ticket price.
