About Queensland Rogues Masquerade Fundraiser
50 Shades of Hay is based on the love of a jockey (Leah) and me (The Big Goodbye). Never did we think that my beautiful young jockey, who had ridden the Qld Rogues No 1 horse for all three of my wins would have a shocking fall while riding. She now needs all the help we can muster. I know Leah is as special to all of you, as she is to me. We have all fallen in love and admiration for my girl Leah. I am asking you to do whatever it takes to help her out so we can be reunited again soon. I thought a masquerade theme was appropriate for the first Queensland Rogues and 50 Shades of Hay event, as it adds the mystique of having a mask that would just add that touch off class to the event.
There will be some great auction items to bid on both online and on the night, the band will be playing til late and guest speakers will have you in stitches with some of the stories they have to tell.
The cost is $100 including canapes with all profits going to help Leah & National Jockeys Trust.
As owners in the Rogues and other TRL teams individually you can play a small part but together as an organisation you can be a powerful force and make a real difference.
This event will be the first of many more and in the years to come, you will want to be able to say I was there. So put on your dancing shoes and invite your friends to join you for an evening to remember.
Please purchase as many tickets as possible as we try to play a small part in the recovery of Leah and all injured jockeys throughout Australia.
