About Abbeystowe Challenger Clash 2026
The Abbeystowe Challenger Clash is unlike anything else you’ve every seen. Marked as Australia’s only standalone Buhurt International tournament, come and see teams from all over Australia and New Zealand go head to head with each other in a clash of steel!
Brought to you by the same team that bring you the Abbey Medieval Festival, and co-hosted by Queensland’s own Team Vultures, the Abbeystowe Challenger Clash promises to deliver two action packed days of full contact medieval battles.
And if that is not enough to get your blood pumping, there will also be a variety of other entertainment, food stalls and a pop-up bar.
We haven’t forgotten about the kids either if you want to bring the family. The Abbeystowe Archery range will be open throughout the day for those wanting to hone their skills with a bow and arrow.
This is an all-weather, outdoors event so come prepared to cheer on your favourite team, rain or shine.
