About Cursillo SQ 40th Anniversary Dinner
The Anglican Cursillo Movement, Southern Queensland is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a sumptuous catered dinner to be held in St Andrew’s Uniting Church Hall, 299 Ann St, Brisbane. It is just a short walk from St John’s Cathedral where the 40th Anniversary Diocesan Ultreya is being held. The venue is also diagonally opposite Central Railway Station.
Commencing at 5pm and finishing at 9pm, it is a wonderful way to finalise the celebrations.

The event will be attended by:
Bishop Cameron Venables, “Bishop of the Western Region and Diocesan Episcopal Adviser and Friend.”
Emcee for the evening will be Rev Iain Moore.
Guest Speaker for the evening will be Bp Ian Palmer “retired National Cursillo Episcopal Adviser”.
Seating will be limited to paying 100 guests.
The layout will be 13 tables of 8 (plus a table for special guests).
Group table bookings of 8 are available.
Preferred table seating for guests (i.e. friends) is available.
BYO Drinks allowed.
Drinks will also be available for purchase.

Starters:
Pita bread, tzatziki and tarama on tables
Entrée:
- Creamy chicken gnocchi; or
- Spinach pie
Main:
- Baked chicken, lemon potatoes, green beans; or
- Lamb roast, roast veggies, green beans
Desert:
- Greek nut cake
- Tea & Coffee
Vegetarian and gluten free options are available if ordered prior.
Early Bird Tickets will be available from the 21st June to the 31st July at $120 per person, at which time ticket prices will be $130 per person.
All tickets must be pre-purchased on-line.
The cut-off date for ticket sales will be 23rd October 2025.
Tickets will be non-refundable, however, may be transferred to other Cursillistas.
