About AFP Legacy Ball

AFP Legacy’s purpose is to support the police family and to perpetuate the memory of fallen AFP employees, whilst in service to the community. We are to the AFP what Police Legacy schemes are in their respective states.

As a not-for-profit organisation, AFP Legacy is committed to providing financial and compassionate support for the widows, widowers and dependent children of deceased AFP employees.

Currently, AFP Legacy support over fifty families through financial and emotional support.

As a charity, we rely on funds from AFP employee donations and fundraising events.

One such event is the annual and extremely popular, ‘AFP Legacy Ball’, to be held on Saturday, 22 October 2022 at Hotel Realm, 18 National Circuit, Canberra, ACT 2600, Australia.
