About Balranald Cup

The Balranald Cup Cox Plate is a fantastic day of country racing, entertainment and community spirit, bringing together locals, families, visitors and racing enthusiasts for a memorable day at the track.

Held on Saturday 24 October 2026, the event offers something for everyone, including live music, kids entertainment, all-day catering, Fashions on the Field, TAB and onsite bookies.

For those looking to make the day extra special, we also offer a range of Marquee & Gazebo packages, from 10-seater private marquees through to larger 30-seater packages. VIP tickets are also available for guests wanting to enjoy a fully catered marquee experience for $120 per head.

The Balranald Cup is proudly organised by the Balranald Racing Club, with a focus on delivering a great country race day while supporting our local community, businesses and racing industry.
Fashions on the field will be held after the first local race.

This is a fully catered event.
