About THE TRUFFLE HUNTERS

THE TRUFFLE HUNTERS - Starlight Screening
Rated G

This delightful documentary follows a handful of men, seventy to eighty years young, in Piedmont, Italy, on the search for the elusive Alba truffle. They’re guided by a secret culture passed down through generations, as well as by the noses of their cherished and expertly trained dogs. The documentary subtly explores the devastating effects of climate change and deforestation on an age-old tradition through a visually stunning narrative that celebrates life and exalts the human spirit.

We welcome dogs of all kinds at this screening as long as they are very good dogs and will be on a lead at all times. Woof!

TICKETING TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Refunds and exchanges will not be made for inadvertently booking the wrong session, inability to attend or if patrons choose to leave the venue prior to the end of the screening. Bangalow Film Festival's outdoor sessions may be adversely affected by weather. We try to go ahead with screenings wherever possible, and do not cancel for light/intermittent/potential rain. We strongly recommend customers bring wet weather gear to screenings in case of rain (note the use of umbrellas during screenings is not permitted as it obstructs the view of other audience members). Screenings will be cancelled only if the weather poses a safety threat to patrons and staff. The decision to cancel a screening is made by the Festival Manager on site, and can be made at any time up to or during the screening. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not be re-validated unless a screening is officially cancelled by Bangalow Film Festival.
