About Between the Bays Music Festival 2014

Between the Bays Music Festival is set on a delightful 35-acre rural property in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula (approximately 1 hour drive from Melbourne).

Now in its 9th year, Between the Bays is firmly established as Mornington Peninsula’s best annual music festival on the summer calendar. A day not to be missed!

Throughout the years, Between the Bays has offered music lovers a festival option that is safe and entertaining for everyone. Between the Bays is inexpensive and has an all-inclusive community feel.

What is there to eat?
Between the Bays offers a broad range of culinary delights to help fuel you for this exciting day. From a simple sausage sizzle and special ice-cream treats, to delights such as wood fired pizza’s, calamari, vegetarian options and wonderful coffee, there will be something to appeal to all palates. Plenty of kid-friendly options as well!

Don’t forget! You can pack your own gourmet picnic to bring along (no glass).


What is there to drink?
Our bar will offer a great range of product to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening. We have reviewed the management of bars at Between the Bays and employed festival specialists to run our bar. Drinks will be available when the gates open.

Bring your water bottle to refill throughout the day at our FREE WATER STATION.

Between the Bays promotes responsible service of alcohol and reminds festival goers to be conscious of the .05 blood alcohol limit when leaving the festival. Our event is strictly no byo alcohol.

Be prepared!
Remember to be ready for our famous Victorian weather. Pack a jumper, sunscreen, hat, sunnies and everything else to make your day at Between the Bays more enjoyable.

Kids Rides
There will once again be a great variety of kid’s rides on offer at Between the Bays. Children will be able to purchase a wristband for unlimited rides throughout the day.

First Aid
If you require first aid please see the wonderful staff at St John’s Ambulance or notify any of the security staff.

Shade and Shelter
Between the Bays is an outdoor event and we wish we controlled the weather. We have dedicated an area for families to bring small shade tents that can be put up towards the rear of the field so they do not obstruct others’ viewing. This area will be managed by security.

Shuttle Bus
Why worry about driving? We will again be running a shuttle bus to and from Between the Bays. There will be 2 pick up/drop off points connecting with public transport running throughout the day and into the evening. You can get all the information regarding this service here.

Parking
We have plenty of space to park at Between the Bays. The Lions Club manage parking on the day and we ask you to make a donation to this group to park on site. Access to Between the Bays is via Rickards Road, Moorooduc. Please understand that you will need to use patience when entering and leaving Between the Bays. Thank you.

What time?
Between the Bays Music Festival Gates open at 2pm on Saturday 22nd February 2014. Our first act will start at approximately 2:45pm. The last band will finish at approximately 10:30pm. We ask people to consider our neighbours when leaving our festival.

Information Tent
If you would like more information regarding Between the Bays, Penbank School or The Wugubank Partnership, pop in to the information tent, which will be located near the main entrance.
