Over time, walls, plants, and structures shaped distinct garden areas, offering visitors a chance to explore a stunning collection of species from across the world.

Here, towering Oak, Ash, Bull Magnolia, Silver Birch, Liquidambar, Eucalyptus, Maple, Plane, and Sycamore stand as sentinels over winding pathways. The air carries the fragrance of Citrus trees, mingling with the seasonal delights of the orchard, vegetable gardens, and flowering plants. A beehive hums with quiet industry, the chook run bustles with life, and the vineyards stretch beyond, completing the cycle of food and wine that defines Caroline Hills.

Guests are invited to experience this world firsthand through garden tours, guided by owner and gardener Helen. Starting at the Cellar Door, visitors are handed a glass of their choice—perhaps a crisp white or a deep, rich red, or even a refreshing mocktail—as Helen leads them through three acres of country gardens, sharing the stories of each space, the evolution of the landscape, and the joys of nurturing it.

As the tour comes to a close, guests are welcomed back to the Cellar Door, where a carefully prepared platter awaits, a final indulgence to savour before departing.
