About MARC Ceilidh

Join us at the MARC on Friday 16 September for our Ceilidh dancing event!

Cèilidh (pronounced ‘Kay-Lee’) is a traditional Scottish event involving folk music and dancing that everyone can enjoy!

Band members from the Caledonian Society of WA will be running this event and calling the dances to get you up on your feet, so make sure you bring your dancing shoes!

Dating back to 1875, Ceilidh originates from Scotland and Ireland although its name comes from Gaelic; it's a combination of Scottish, Irish and English folk music.

Ceilidh music and dancing (pronounced “kay-lee” and meaning “visit”) is becoming more and more popular.

Dust off your kilts, grab your dancing shoes and head to the MARC for our second Ceilidh event on Friday 16 September. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.

$25 per person* or;
$175 for a table of 8.
(Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult)
