The King.  The Emperor of Lang Park.  Queensland’s favourite Queenslander.  Rugby League Immortal is COMING TO SPRINGSURE FOR 1 NIGHT ONLY. 

This living legend and all round-great-bloke is stopping in to meet the people of Springsure & Central Qld. 

Wally considers, the owner of Dooleys, Dr Tom Dooley as one of the great influencers & blessings in his life.  He will drop into Dooleys Springsure to have a (Great Northern Zero) beer with Tom & the good folk of Central Queensland Saturday December 12, 2020

(Wally spent quite a bit of time as a young lad playing in and around Central Queensland and has very fond memories.)

The evening will be MC’d by Steve Haddan who will get Wally to share some of his incredible story of how, from humble beginnings, he left no stone unturned in his quest to be the best, how he faced triumph, illness and heartache in equal measure and captured the hearts of a generation of fans with his breathtaking talent and courage.

Never-before-seen photos, intimate & funny stories about a life on and off the paddock are sure to be a hit.  (Want to find out why Wayne Bennet still holds a grudge against Wally? It’s sure to make you laugh.)

Due to Covid and other restrictions, tickets are limited.  All proceeds from your $5 ticket will be donated to Springsure Mountain Men Football Club to support local, grassroots League.

The $5 entry will apply to 16 years+

Book a ticket ($0) for any attendees under 16 years to assist Dooleys with numbers.

Please note - the Tavern is likely to be crowded on the evening and by purchasing a ticket you acknowledge there will be only limited seating & some standing.  You may not have a clear line-of-site of the Q & A but we will do all we can to make the evening enjoyable and give you an opportunity to meet the guests.

Terms & Conditions:
- The event organisers have a COVID-19 Event Safely Plan in place and will follow the guidelines set out by the Department of Health.
-This ticket provides entry only to the Tavern.  It does not guarantee, secure or provide seating.  There will be standing room available.
- At Managements discretion, they have the right to refuse entry or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury and nuisance or for failure to comply with reasonable requests. Those evicted from the Venue will not be re-admitted to the Event and tickets will not be refunded. Intoxication, aggressive or anti-social behaviour is not acceptable and will result in discharge from the Venue.
- By entering an event you agree to being filmed and photographed during the event. Footage or images may be reproduced, published and exploited by the Promoter without limit including but not restricted to marketing and promotional use and in all media.
- During an event, patrons must follow official directions by Venue staff and security.

- All patrons must adhere to licensing laws. Any patrons who are intoxicated or disorderly will be evicted from the venue. Management reserve the right to refuse entry.
