About Remembering the Sugar Pines

A YEAR AFTER THE LOSS OF THE ICONIC SUGAR PINE WALK AN INVITATION TO COME TOGETHER AT PILOT HILL ARBORETUM TO TAKE PART IN A QUIET AND INTIMATE REMEMBRANCE.
Gathering at sunrise near the small stand of sugar pines, the Pilot Hill Arboretum will be filled with music, sounds and voices invoking memories of Sugar Pine Walk collected from community.

Remembering the Sugar Pines will offer a space for reflection on the past and an affirmation of the future.

Parking at Lochinvar Park/Picnic Area, shuttle bus provided. Please be ready to get on the bus at 5:30am.

Due to the reflective nature of this event, it is not recommended for children under the age of 10.

The ground where the event takes place is uneven. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for temperature. Toilet facilities are limited. Some seating provided. Participants are invited to sit on logs, a blanket or stand against a tree.
