About Multi Species Farming | All 4 Conferences
Kevin Elmy, Cover Crops Canada, is known as a powerhouse speaker. He has practical knowledge of using mixed species as cover crops, fodder and cash crops. Kevin is based in western Canada but has lived in Western Australia for a year. He understands the challenges of our soil types and environment. Both the dormant soil phases of summer drought or snowy winter are remarkably similar and covering the ground with diversity is the key to success.
Soil is Kevin’s passion but he possesses practical knowledge having farmed on his own property for over 20 years. Recently he sold this farm; this has given him the time to go on-farm and advise farmers and graziers on the benefits of multi species farming and the wealth transfer from soil health to dollars in the bank.
In February and March 2026 we are fortunate to have him on our shores. Farming Revolution has locked in 4 events on the Eastern seaboard of Australia where Kevin will be the lead speaker, rather than try and squeeze as many speakers in as possible, Kevin will be presenting for the majority of the 2 day conference/workshop.
This is no average conference. This is a luxurious way of training with like minded farmers and graziers in our top notch resorts that specifically cater for 5 star conferences. Tamzin Revell, founder of Farming Revolution has attended many conferences, events, workshops and field days over the past 8 years and understands that we all need more time to process what we have learned and what better way of spending that time than in these pristine resorts that cater specifically for events like these.
We all need to be rewarded for what we do. These events are affordable, excellent value, 5 star relaxation and decadence with top quality speakers both during the day and at dinner. There will be a farm visit in the morning of the second day. Dinner on both nights of the conference and accommodation at a reduced rate for 4 nights, this can start the night before the event. Some of the resorts will cater for an extended stay 1-2 nights before and after the allocated 4 days at the discounted conference rate. Be sure to book as early as you can, Farming Revolution isn’t holding any rooms.
There are rooms that have been allocated and you need to use the link to book the accommodation directly with the resort. The link for these will be on the Landing Page located on www.farmingrevolution.com.au where you will find more detail about everyone who is speaking at the event plus an in-depth schedule of the 4 days and what is your expected outcome.
The conference is for 2 days. The following 2 days are up to you. We will be offering coaching sessions for on-farm application so you put into practice the learnings you have gained over the previous 2 days. Rachelle Armstrong, Soil Restoration Farming (SRF), will be available to share her expertise in bringing the best out of you. Channelling your values and purpose into something proactive that you can put into practice on your farm.
Dean Bentley will be offering a circle process specifically for men. Dean is a soul, health and mind coach who specialises in men's health. These sessions are about finding what is limiting you, so that you are able to progress, move forward and help to change your perceptions within your life. Dean has become very popular with men who live on the Gold Coast and he is making a huge difference with their lives. It might be alcohol, depression or simply struggling with an issue in your life, Dean is here to help.
Martin Williams will be mingling and free to discuss anything multi species and especially his favourite topic, diversity. He is encouraging people to ‘Go back to Basics’ and learn the principles of regenerative farming. This is his busy time of year with his business, Nyngan Seed Graders but he will definitely be attending a couple, if not all, of the conferences. His Maverick Seeds (Daikon Radish) will also be available to purchase at the events.
Martin and Kevin will be available to chat about the specific blends you need for the practical changes to take place on your farm, so that the multi species farming jumps into action as soon as you get home.
Take full advantage of what the following 2 days are offering; process the information, relax and talk to the network of farming friends you have gained. Play a game of golf, walk on the beautiful grounds or have a look at the local attractions. Use this time to unlock your new found skills. Ask as many questions as you can because Kevin, Martin, Rachelle, Dean and Tamzin will be hanging out with all of you, so organise a time to chat either one on one or in a group. Please also visit the Landing Page for more information on how we intend to continue this training going into the future. It is important that you realise this is about building on your experiences and gaining knowledge, while we offer the support you need to continue multi species farming.
Everyone is welcome, bring a neighbour to the event or a relative. You can even bring a naysayer just to make things a little bit more interesting. It will literally be, the more the merrier. We need a full house at all of these events. 200-300 people of the land.
Why?
Because you are worth it!
