After the incredible success of last year’s market, Fire Rose Productions and The Crimson Rose Masquerade Ball are honoured to be partnering once again with The Brisbane Gothic and Alternative Picnic to celebrate their 15 year anniversary! Running alongside the picnic again, The Crimson Catacombs is an indoor gothic and alternative market at Spring Hill Hall, nestled right inside Bedford Playground Park!  Inside the hall, there will be multiple stalls run by our amazingly creative community, as well as music performances from some of our beloved local talent.  We have secured more of the venue this year so there will be even more stalls!

Outside, you can enjoy the beautiful parkland and partake in our traditional picnic.  We are also looking at having some fun activities for everyone to partake in. There will be raffles on sale with amazing prizes donated by our wonderful sponsors, and we are looking into having a coffee van available again!

We are proud to be raising funds again for Hummingbird House – Queensland’s only children’s hospice.

This is a chance to support local businesses, local musicians, and Hummingbird House, while enjoying Brisbane's annual picnic tradition.

Wheelchair Access:
There is a ramp into the upstairs of the venue for those who require wheelchairs. The door into the venue itself is only 34 inches wide. The ramp up varies between 38-40 inches wide.

Children 14 years and under are free!

Companion Card Holders:
Although we are not officially affiliated with the program, we are happy to support Companion Card holders and provide a free ticket for support workers.

Park use:
The park is being shared by other members of the public, so first in best dressed. We will be securing a large portion of the park from early in the morning for you all though!

This is a strictly no drugs or alcohol event. Please refrain from partaking both inside the hall and out in the park. We want to keep it safe and family friendly for all.

Parking:
Please note there is limited parking available at the venue. There is street parking available, but you will be sharing this with the public. There are multiple bus stops nearby. Follow our event on Facebook for updated information about public transport.
