About 2026 Foster & District Agricultural Show

The Foster & District Agricultural Show is a celebration of community talent and agriculture within South Gippsland.

There’s something for everyone on show day from cats to cattle, ferrets to photography and horses to home produce. Get involved by entering competitions whether you’ve been busy preparing something for weeks or simply turn up on the day ready to have a go at sheaf tossing, fashions and the pet parade.

Loads of free activities for kids, animals on display and local producers to support. A new addition to show day in 2026, the 30th Annual Back to Back Wool Challenge will have teams racing to transform wool from the sheep’s back into a knitted adult jumper. Can’t wait to see you there!
