About Film Screening Fundraiser for Palestine

Friends of Palestine Rubibi invites the community to a screening of ‘Where Olive Trees Weep’. ALL profits will be donated to mutual aid organisations on the ground in Gaza.

There’ll be activities for children, a bake sale & hand-printed merchandise to purchase.

‘Where Olive Trees Weep’ gives background to the current crisis in Israel/Palestine and brings to light the lives of people the filmmakers met in 2022 in occupied West Bank. The film offers a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice.
