About Great Western - Good Friday Rodeo 2025
The annual Great Western Good Friday Rodeo has been a staple event in our local event calendar for over 20 years, bringing people from all over the state to our regional country town.
With live entertainment available from 3pm onwards, and plenty of onsite food and beverage options, it’s a fun day out for the whole family to enjoy. Plus, a live band kicks-off once the rodeo action concludes too, meaning you can dance the night away under the stars.
There is free camping available for those wanting to stay the night. Camping positions are served on a 'first in, best dressed' arrangement, this means there are no allocated spots or bookings required as such. We have added two FOC camping tickets to aid in our operational requirements and ensure there are appropriate safety parameters in place. If you plan on staying with us at the reserve it would be greatly appreciated if you could add a camping ticket to your order to help us with coordinating this area.
A recovery breakfast will also be available from 7am on Saturday morning with bacon and eggs to get your day started. You're more than welcome to camp at the reserve for the remainder of the long weekend too, however you will need to pay for subsequent nights ($15 per night for no power, $20 per night for power). The onsite caretakers will come around to collect this from you directly.
This is a strictly no BYO event with a family-friendly enclosure available. We also kindly ask that you leave your doggo friends at home as they are not permitted inside the official event grounds.
See you there!
