If you are buying your first reptile make sure you have a current native animal keeper license. You can apply online https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-for-a-native-animal-keeper-licence but be aware that the department is undergoing some changes at the moment and it can take more than a month to have your license processed.
