NB: Historic Winton will be an historic car only event again in 2026, but the Austin 7 Club is investigating the return of motorcycles to the event.  Motorcycle displays and club promotion of are welcome.

Historic Winton, Australia’s longest running, historic race meeting is one of the largest sporting events in rural Victoria.  The excitement of yesteryear grandeur blends with competition pace, creating a unique atmosphere at the rural location of Winton Motor Raceway.  This full two-day event is a spectacle from start to finish.

Hundreds of racing cars from the 1920s to the 1980s battle it out for line honours and there’s loads more to do.  The competition paddock is open to spectators where they can see the much-loved, historic vehicles of competitors.

Anniversary displays by clubs and individuals are located around the site too.  All visitors are welcome to bring their historic vehicles to join in the fun at this iconic event. 

Delicious food vendors and the automotive trader market make Historic Winton a full weekend for motoring and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Melbourne motorsport lovers. FREE! Catch the free VLINE service from Southern Cross Station on Sat 30 or Sun 31 May to Benalla.  Take the very first train and arrive in time for the free shuttle bus at 9:45am to Historic Winton.  Returning -  The free bus will leave Winton Motor Raceway for Benalla Station at 4:15 and 5pm.  Your return train to Southern Cross will be 6:45pm.

The holder of this ticket is permitted to enter Winton Motor Raceway for the purpose of participating in or attending Historic Winton and the Meeting Director or any Police Officer on duty may revoke this permit for any reason that he/she thinks fit. In the event that such an authorised person revokes this ticket, the holder thereof shall immediately leave the Raceway after being so notified of the revocation.

MOTOR SPORT IS DANGEROUS

Spectators are warned that Motorsport is dangerous, and accidents can and do happen. All care is taken to protect the public, but spectators are warned that there is a possibility of an accident-causing personal injury, death, economic loss or property damage.
The spectator acknowledges that entry into the vicinity of the event has a degree of danger and that the promoter, clubs, corporations, organisations, participants and other persons having any connection with the promoting, organising or conduct of the event shall have no liability, either in tort or contract, for any personal injury, death, economic loss or loss of property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the spectator except in regard to any rights that spectator may have arising under the Fair Trading Act 2012 (VIC) and the Australian Consumer Law.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

By issue of this ticket or credential you hereby acknowledge that entry into the vicinity of the event has a degree of danger and that the promoter, clubs, corporations, organisations, participants and other persons having any connection with the promoting, organising or conduct of the event shall have no liability, either in tort or contract, for any personal injury, death, economic loss or loss of property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the spectator except in regard to any rights that spectator may have arising under the Fair Trading Act 2012 (VIC) and the Australian Consumer Law.

Vehicles are only permitted to enter the raceway and park on condition that the Austin 7 Club and Winton Motor Raceway Pty Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage to the vehicle or its contents no matter how or where such may occur.

In the interests of safety, animals and pets (except guide dogs) are not permitted at the venue.
