About I Got You – Josh’s Legacy Fundraiser
You asked! We listened!
After the success of our inaugural - I Got You fundraiser last year we are holding our second event, I Got You - Josh’s Legacy Fundraiser. The evening will commemorate the life of Joshua Clarke, a 25 year old son, brother, nephew, grand son and mate, lost to suicide in April 2021.
The evening will be a time to reflect on Josh's life, raise awareness of suicide, and raise funds through raffles, silent auctions and our infamous tradie auctions.. All money raised will be donated to The OzHelp Foundation (OzHelp).
OzHelp’s purpose is to improve the health and wellbeing of high risk, hard to reach workers, and to prevent the risk of suicide. It does this through health screening, wellbeing support and counselling, and education and training.
OzHelp has strong connections to the ACT building and construction industry, an industry Josh and many of his friends worked in.
Guest Speaker will be Para Olympian - Rower Kathryn Ross.
We encourage you to buy a ticket or put a table together to commemorate a wonderful life of a loved young man, have a meal, and help raise some money for a wonderful cause all in the name of Josh.
Last year we raised just over $19,000 - this year we've set an ambitious target, aiming for the ambitious amount of $25,000.
Let’s all work together to reduce the stigma of mental health and raise awareness of suicide, while raising funds for an amazing organisation.
Limited tickets are available, so get in quick.
