About Penrite ProMX Championship 2026: Presented by AMX Superstores Round 1 – Wonthaggi

Wonthaggi’s high-flying status as the opening round of the Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores (ProMX) will continue into 2026, with the spectacular regional Victorian circuit once again kickstarting Australia’s premier motocross series.

All eyes will be on Wonthaggi for a two day round on March 21–22, as the venue hosts the ProMX season opener with continued support from the Victorian Government and Bass Coast Shire Council, fans can expect another world class event showcasing the very best of Australian motocross.

Adding to the excitement, the FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup returns to Wonthaggi in 2026, bringing international flair to an already action packed weekend. 

The event will also see FIM Asia make its debut, joining returning federations Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America in a thrilling motocross battle. 
The weekend schedule includes practice, qualifying, and racing across both Saturday and Sunday, delivering two jam packed days of nonstop action. Australia’s top riders will battle it out on one of the country’s most exciting and challenging motocross tracks.

The excitement doesn’t stop on the track, with fans able to meet their favourite riders and explore Trade Alley.

With elite national racing, international women’s competition and an unbeatable fan experience, Wonthaggi 2026 promises to be one of the standout events on the motocross calendar.

TICKET DETAILS:

- Children under 13 are free but are required to purchase a ticket.

- All tickets include entry into the pit paddock.

- Concession applies to current Defence Force, Pension/Aged, Disability, Carer and Student card holders. Card must be presented on entry.

- Tickets sold are non-refundable but are transferable to other people.
