About Murray Hut CWA 2026 Melbourne Cup Luncheon

Melbourne Cup Day Luncheon – Murray Hut CWA

Murray Hut CWA (Finley/Tocumwal) warmly invites you to join us for our Melbourne Cup Day Luncheon on Tuesday, 3rd November 2026.

Our luncheon has become a much-loved occasion on the local calendar, bringing together guests from near and far for an afternoon of good food, friendship and Melbourne Cup tradition.

Places are limited to 80 guests, so we encourage you to book early, particularly if you are planning to attend with a group.

The afternoon will include a buffet luncheon, along with our traditional Lady of the Day, Milliners Award and Best Shoes parades. A chance to embrace the occasion, dress for the day and perhaps add a little extra flair.

Raffles, sweeps and competitions will also feature throughout the afternoon, with prizes to be won and, naturally, a little friendly competition along the way. Make sure you bring a little extra cash to participate.

Tickets are allocated to a randomly selected table. If you would like to be seated with friends, please contact Sue on 0409 314 174 with the names of your party and we will arrange a table together, or alternatively book an entire table.

We look forward to welcoming you to another memorable Melbourne Cup afternoon — good company, good food and all the traditions that make the day special.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of Murray Hut CWA.
