About Talk: Return to Uluru — Mark McKenna
In Return to Uluru, historian Mark McKenna brings new evidence to the historical case of a white police officer fatally shooting an Aboriginal man at Uluru in 1934. Together with member of the Uluru family, Harry Wilson, and David Batty — who, as a young filmmaker in 1986, was asked to film a testimony of the event by a member of the murdered man’s family — Mark will talk about his compelling book, truth-telling and resetting the historical record.
