This conference will be aimed at broadening the knowledge of our General Practitioners and giving them skills and tools needed to better asses, treat and help their patients with mental health needs in their general practice.
Throughout the 1 day session, 8 of our clinical specialists (including Pscyhiatrists, Pscyhologists and Pain Specialist) we will deliver on topics including;

• Assessing and Managing Perinatal Sleep Disturbances
• Addiction to Prescription Medication
• Pearls and Pitfalls
• Not To Be Taken Lightly - Psychiatric Assessment of Patients Seeking Bariatric Surgery,
• Clinical Guidelines For Treatment Of Anxiety Disorders
• Recognising ADHD in General Practice: Focussing on What Matters
and
• Common Investigations in Psychiatry

A focus on improving the skills needed for understanding the mental health and psychological issues in bariatric patients, creating a greater understanding in diagnosing and treating patients with ADHD and providing GPs with the resources to better assist their patients in the management of chronic pain; including therapies or processes that may not have traditionally been through of in the past.

Concluding the day will be a 1 hour networking function where General Practitioners and presenters will have a change to meet, exchange thoughts and build relationships.
