Queensland’s Premier Gardening Expo - Brisbane Garden & Plant Expo Spring 2019.

The Spring Event is the Sister Event to the Brisbane Garden & Plant Expo Summer/Autumn, which is held each year in March.

The Spring Event celebrates the subtropical climate of Brisbane City, suburbs and surrounding countryside of the Greater Brisbane Area. The Spring Event focuses on Create, Grow & Enjoy, it’s about the experience of gardening from youth to the mature age.

The Plant Expo is for avid plant collectors, beginner gardeners and families who are eager to learn more about gardening. This is the best location to find popular garden plants and related products, plus all those fascinating rare and collectable plants.

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

Tickets $20 Per Participant - Workshop Tickets Only Available Online (Please Note: Entry Ticket To Expo is Additional)

Pre-Bookings are Essential - Max 50 Participants per Workshop.

Please Note: Children attending any workshops (excluding ADULTS ONLY WORKSHOP) must be accompanied with an Adult Workshop Ticket Holder.

Saturday 5th October 2019

10.00am to 11.00am - Masterclass Workshop Growing & Propagating Warm Climate Bulbs - Participants will learn the diversity of climate bulbs, how to grow and propagate them. Plus pot up some bulbs and take home.
11.30am to 12.30am - Create Workshop Indoor Macrame Hangers - Participants will make and take home a macrame hanger.
1.00pm to 2.00pm - Masterclass Workshop What Makes My Soil Healthy (STRICTLY ADULTS ONLY) - Participants will test soil samples and learn skills on how to improve soil health.

Sunday 6th October 2019

10.00am to 11.00am - Create Workshop Create a Micro-Herb Garden - Participants will learn about micro-herbs and take home a garden to care for.
11.30am to 12.30am - Create Workshop Make Your Own Pots (STRICTLY ADULTS ONLY) - Participants will create and make their own pots to take home.
1.00pm to 2.00pm - Masterclass Workshop Orchids Care and Propagation - Participants will learn about propagation of orchids, pot up a division and take the propagated orchid home.
