The impact of increased Cultural Intelligence (CQ) of managers (in engineering and oil and gas industries) on the workplace
The Australian workforce is becoming more diverse - 43% of Perth’s domestic workforce are from countries other than Australia . Organisations and their managers would benefit from growing their Cultural Intelligence (CQ) to harness the strength such diversity brings to the workplace. CQ is recognised as an individual's ability to function effectively in culturally diverse settings.
Tanya Finnie, Director of RedHead Communications, is a global cultural strategist who works with technical managers to enhance job performance, improve innovation and build stronger situational awareness. We all know diversity and inclusion is important in our global world, but how do we create diverse teams who collaborate and still increase our profits all at the same time? Tanya is undertaking an in depth postgraduate study to see the impact of increased CQ of managers in Engineering and OAG companies on the workforce. She is looking for interested parties to take part in this study as a sample group or for those who simply want to stay abreast of new developments for technical leaders in human behaviour in our diverse global world.
Please come and join us for a lunch and learn session to discuss how CQ can help your business.
A light lunch and drink will be included. Feel free to make use of the cash bar during the event as well.
