The group spoke — our next event should be something outdoors and lightly physical.

Lawn Bowls it is!

As the summer comes on, there are so many things to celebrate at this stage of our lives. We know Mrs Stone still has certificates from 1989 to hand out!

We know there are many hurdles to attending. But we also know that staying connected to people who have known us for a long time matters. We suspect our future selves will thank us for making the effort to spend the afternoon together.

Please come and celebrate together, you’re welcome even if you can only attend for part of the time.

You don’t have to bowl! We’ll need players and spectators for the cheering (and sledging) elements.

PROGRAM
2.30pm — Arrive for welcome drink and nibbles in our dedicated covered seating area.
3.00pm — Optional lawn bowls game ($15 extra), with coaches for those who want to play. Bench seating will be available for spectators, with lawn-side nibbles. Each lane will have two teams of five.
4.30–6.30pm — Return to our seated area for canapés, included in the $50 entry ticket.
There is also a bar and à la carte menu, including hot chips and other extras, for anyone wanting something more substantial or wishing to stay after 6.30pm.

TICKETS
Entry — $50 (welcome drink and post-game canapés).
Optional lawn bowls — $15.
Voluntary event sponsorship — $60 for a lawn-side nibbles platter for approximately five people.

We'd love to see everyone there and will do what we can to make attendance easier. Please contact the organisers if cost, travel, dietary requirements or other circumstances might make attending difficult.

If you are not ready to commit yet, that’s OK too — let us know you’re considering it. If circumstances change later, we can help facilitate ticket transfers through the Facebook group where possible.
