Rose Tattoo are one of Australia’s most respected hard rock bands, celebrating 50 years in 2026.

Their 1978 anthem “Rock ’n’ Roll Outlaw” became a European hit and remains the band’s defining statement.

Hailed in The Encyclopedia of Australian Rock and Pop and listed in The 100 Best Australian Albums, Rose Tattoo were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006.

Their influence spread globally when Guns N’ Roses covered Nice Boys, with Axl Rose calling them one of his favourite bands.

Frontman Angry Anderson says Rose Tattoo speak for the “dispossessed” – a mission that still resonates today.
