About Gulgong Rodeo 2026
Gulgong Rodeo 2026 is a family-friendly country rodeo and entertainment event presented by Rocky Ridge Rodeo Company at Gulgong Showground on Saturday 8 August 2026. Gates open at 12:00pm, with the main rodeo program running from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
The event will showcase an exciting afternoon of rodeo action including mini bulls, junior bulls, novice bulls and open bulls, along with junior barrel racing and senior barrel racing. The program is designed to create a strong community atmosphere for families, local businesses, sponsors, competitors and visitors from across Gulgong, Mudgee and the wider Central West.
Patrons can enjoy market stalls, food vendors, kids amusements and a country event atmosphere throughout the afternoon. After the main rodeo program, the event will continue with an after party featuring Cowboy DJ Nik Groz till late.
Discounted presale tickets are available first: 250 Adult tickets at $30, 250 Kids tickets at $20 and 100 Family tickets at $80. Once the discounted ticket allocation is sold out, full pricing applies: Adults $35, Kids $25 and Family $90. Kids under 5 are free.
Camping Details:
Camping is available Friday and Saturday night at $35 per site per night, with a maximum of 60 campsites available and a maximum of 4 campers per site. Camping patrons must follow event directions and site rules. Pets are allowed in the camping area but must be kept on a leash at all times in accordance with NSW requirements. No alcohol is to be consumed in the camping area as this is a licensed event. Amenities including toilets, showers, water and a dump point are available at the showground.

This is a public community event suitable for all ages. All patrons must follow event staff, security and venue directions at all times.
