About Mount Gambier Rodeo 2026

The Mount Gambier Rodeo is back for 2026, bringing another massive night of entertainment to Blue Lake Sports Park. Gates open at 4.00 pm, giving spectators plenty of time to settle in before all the thrills and spills of rodeo action buck off at 6.00 pm.

The arena will come alive with an action-packed program featuring the speed and precision of barrel racing, the power of saddle bronc, and the adrenaline of bull riding, proudly presented in conjunction with Woodall Rodeo Promotions. Families are well catered for, with a dedicated children’s entertainment area offering activities to keep young spectators busy throughout the evening.

Once the main arena action wraps up, the entertainment continues with live music from Mud Sweat and Beers, keeping the party going.

This is a fully catered event, with a great range of food options including a BBQ and a variety of local food vans onsite. The venue is fully licensed, with a well-stocked bar available for refreshments.
