This fantastic event is run in conjunction with The Rye Gift Professional Athletics Carnival. This major Victorian Athletics League carnival sees over 600 professional athletes compete in events ranging from 70m to 1600m over an exciting 5 hour timetable.

The Rye Junior Gift is an amazing and exciting opportunity for athletes to experience the sights, sounds and feeling of a senior racing atmosphere. Junior athletes run on the main event track in front of thousands of spectators.

Competition information:

- U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, and U13(male/female events)
- Current Little Athletics Victoria athletes and Rye Junior Sports Club members may enter
- Straight final ‘100m scratch’ racing program for each age group with placing based on time
- Timed finals
- Sashes presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places Athletes sign in by 7:30am, marshal around 8:00am
- Athletes age groups as per normal Little Athletics protocols
- Proof of age required if LAVic registration number not provided
- Normal sprinting clothing allowed (including Skins) – centre top not mandatory
- Spikes/blocks for U11+ only
- Entry fee includes full day entry of athlete and one guardian
- Entries close 11:59pm 9th January 2025 or as age group limits are filled.
