Parking
Limited parking is available for $5 (cash or card) on the school oval located across from the showgrounds. Parking will be run first in, first served. Limited street parking is available in the town’s surrounds. Parking is at the vehicle owner’s risk.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY – Southern Realm Festival
- All patrons (including children) must hold a valid ticket for entry.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who is behaving in a manner deemed unsafe, intoxicated, disorderly, or inappropriate, without refund.
- All tickets are non-refundable except as required by law.
- Tickets are only valid if purchased through the authorised ticketing agent, Ticketebo. Tickets purchased via unauthorised third parties are at the purchaser’s risk and may be deemed invalid. Fraudulent tickets will not be honoured.
- All tickets are subject to a booking fee.
Safety & Conduct
- Patrons must comply with all directions given by event staff, security, and emergency services personnel at all times.
- Dangerous, illegal, or prohibited items are strictly not permitted and may be confiscated.
- Anti-social behaviour, including harassment, violence, or intimidation of any kind, will not be tolerated.
Smoking & Vaping
- Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.
Alcohol & Prohibited Items
- This is a licensed event. No BYO alcohol is permitted.
- Eskies and large coolers are not permitted.
- Sealed, unopened plastic water bottles are permitted. Free water refill stations will be available.
- Intoxicated persons will not be admitted or may be removed from the event.
Weapons & Props Policy
- Patrons are responsible for all props and weapons they bring onto the event grounds.
- All props are subject to inspection upon entry. Security reserves the right to refuse any item.
- Only blunt, safe props are permitted (including foam, latex, wood, plastic, or 3D-printed items).
- Steel or sharpened weapons are strictly prohibited.
- Patrons must not handle reenactment or combat weapons unless participating in an organiser-approved activity.
- Props must be carried and used responsibly. Swinging, brandishing, or pointing items at others is not permitted.
- Combat or interactive use of props is only allowed in designated, approved areas.
- Failure to comply may result in confiscation of items or removal from the event without refund.
Entry Conditions
- Bag checks may be conducted upon entry and exit. Refusal to comply may result in denied entry.
- Pass-outs are not permitted. Once you leave the event, re-entry will not be allowed.
- Patrons must not enter restricted or unauthorised areas.
Event Conditions
- This is an outdoor event and will proceed in most weather conditions. Patrons should dress appropriately, including sun protection and weather-suitable clothing.
- Patrons are not permitted to camp or camp or stay overnight on the event grounds.
Filming & Photography
- By entering the event, patrons consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. This material may be used for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation.
Liability
- Patrons enter the event at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organisers, venue, and staff accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage sustained while attending the event.
