Participants must be 16 years of age and older and must have completed the Level 1 Sports Trainer course, Introduction to Sports Taping, or provide evidence of equivalent experience.

About Sports Taping | Intro & Advanced

Course 1 - Introduction to Sports Taping

This course offers beginners technical and practical advice for use when taping athletes. This course covers an introduction to taping techniques for ankle, finger & thumb, as well as the principles and application of tape. This is an ideal course for players, parents and first aiders who are taping athletes.  There are no prerequisites for this course.

Upon completion of this training, students will receive a Certificate of Attendance and participants must be 16 years of age and older.

2 hours of practical

Includes tape

These sessions have been organised exclusively for Mandurah Sporting Club volunteers and have been subsidised to make them much more affordable. Formally $60.00 but if you volunteer for a sporting club it will only cost you $30.

Course is conducted by Sports Medicine Australia


Course 2 - Advanced Sports Taping

This is an advanced taping course which covers taping techniques for the knee, shoulder, elbow and achilles. The course also covers basic anatomy.

Prospective participants must have completed the Level 1 Sports Trainer course, Introduction to Sports Taping, or provide evidence of equivalent experience.

Upon completion of this training, students will receive a Certificate of Attendance and participants must be 16 years of age and older.

4 hours of theory and practical

Includes Tape

These sessions have been organised exclusively for Mandurah Sporting Club volunteers and have been subsidised to make them much more affordable. Formally $80.00 but if you volunteer for a sporting club it will only cost you $40.
