The Shearers Shindig is a vibrant 2 – day event on May 23rd and 24th, located at the Thargomindah Sports Oval, SW QLD.

Cheer on the thrilling pig races and witness the adrenaline- pumping quick shear heats. This exciting competition not only showcases the wool industry that has put us on the map, but also celebrates the incredible talent of our local, national and international shearers. Sheep shearing is an iconic trade in rural Australia, with a shearers skill measured by the number of sheep they can shear in a day.
