About The English Ale Bonfire & Procession
Join Petal the Giant, Morris Dancers, Hobby Horses, Musicians & Guisers in The English Ale’s torch light procession. Wear a mask and process to the bonfire site where the Wickerman awaits to be fired into life by the mystical fire dancers. We will gather at 5.30pm and follow the Morris Dancers to the sound of drums that will raise the energy of mother earth. Join in and celebrate the harvest, the end of the fire season, moving into the greener time of the year and the traditions of our ancestors of blood. We acknowledge the Peramangk people, the traditional custodians and owners of the land on where we gather and we thank their ancestor spirits and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
No BYO of Alcohol permitted.
